The Village That Vanished. Chapter 2: The Hidden Passage. Curiosity overcame fear. Ethan lowered himself into the ancient well using climbing ropes. Instead of water, he found a narrow stone tunnel leading deep beneath the village. His flashlight revealed walls covered with mysterious carvings. They showed villagers carrying golden treasures into underground chambers. At the end of the tunnel stood a massive bronze door engraved with a warning: "Only those who value truth above treasure may enter." Ignoring the warning, one member of Ethan's team forced the door open........
