Chapter 2: The Guardian Appears. Kiran walked deeper into the forest until every tree looked identical. Thick vines curled around ancient trunks, and soft blue flowers glowed beneath his feet. Suddenly, a voice echoed from nowhere. "Why have you come?" Kiran spun around. Standing before him was a tall figure wrapped in flowing green light. Long silver hair drifted like mist, and glowing leaves circled around the spirit without touching the ground. "I seek answers," Kiran said bravely. The spirit studied him. "For centuries humans have entered this forest seeking treasure." "I seek none." "They all said the same." The spirit raised a hand.....
