THE CURSE OF THE SEVEN SACRED HILLS. Chapter 1: The Forbidden Prophecy. For centuries, the Kingdom of Amandi prospered beneath the shadow of the Seven Sacred Hills. The elders believed each hill was guarded by an ancient spirit that protected the land from famine, war, and disease. Only one law had never been broken: "No one shall climb all seven hills before the seventh full moon, or the curse shall awaken." The warning was carved into black stone at the entrance of the royal shrine. Most dismissed it as an old legend. Except the oldest priest.
