THE BOY WHO BORROWED TOMORROW Chapter 4: The Forest Where Time Stood Still The monstrous Echo lunged forward. Before Elias could react, the Collector slammed his staff against the floor. A blinding wave of golden light exploded through the Hall of Time, forcing the creature back. "Run!" the Collector shouted. The Hourglass of Second Chances glowed in Elias's hands. Instantly, a doorway of shimmering light appeared before him. Without hesitation, he stepped through. The world around him dissolved into streaks of gold and silver. Moments later, he landed on soft grass beneath towering trees. Everything was... silent.....
